Triumph gallery is temporarily postponing all new exhibitions and pivots its operations into a “state of emergency.” As an experiment, we will piloting new modes of engagement with the public to stay in touch with our audience.
During this period of time, the Research Arts is undertaking an online project, where will be collected artworks that explore the concept of disaster, instability, crises and ways to overcome them. This website section will also feature opinion pieces by sociologists and philosophers, providing analysis of the current situation and potential futures. This project shall become a draft study for a prospective exhibition to be held at the earliest opportunity.
Triumph social media accounts will be posting artworks from the gallery archive and reporting on visits to artist studios. Each new week will be marked by an updated One Hundred Years of Solitude playlist, compiled by the gallery staff and artists. We are also launching a podcast and a casual Telegram channel. On weekends, our website will be running online screenings of iconic video artists.
