Lee Jinju was born in South Korea in 1980. She graduated from the Department of Eastern Painting at Hongik University. The artist employs traditional Korean painting techniques. One of the key topics in her works is memory and trauma, which serve as a means of speaking about reality. She lives and works in Paju and Seoul.
